Motorstead Servicing, repairs, bodywork & recoverySouth East London Call 07494 659857

Terms and conditions

These terms cover how Motorstead arranges and manages vehicle work on your behalf.

Who you are contracting with

Motorstead is a trading name of 24/7 Road Assist Group Ltd. We arrange and manage vehicle servicing, repairs, bodywork and recovery through a network of independent specialists. We are your point of contact throughout, and we are responsible for how the job is managed.

Quotations

Any figure we give you is based on the information available at the time. Nothing is booked and no work begins until you have approved the price. If further work comes to light once the vehicle is being worked on, we stop and come back to you with a revised price. Nothing is added without your agreement.

Diagnosis

Some faults cannot be priced without an inspection. Where that is the case we will say so, and any charge for the inspection is agreed with you in advance.

Collection and return

Collection and return may be available depending on the job, the location and availability. It is offered as a convenience and is not compulsory. You are equally welcome to take the vehicle to the appointed specialist yourself.

Payment

Payment is due in full on completion, before the vehicle is returned or collected. We accept card, bank transfer and cash. Trade accounts can be arranged separately.

Warranty

Parts carry a six-month warranty as standard, and some carry considerably longer — batteries, for example, are typically covered for three to four years. Cover depends on the part being replaced and its manufacturer, so exact terms are confirmed in writing with your quote before work begins.

Your statutory rights

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply throughout and nothing in these terms affects them. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and parts must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.

Recovery

Recovery is priced separately from any repair and is confirmed with you before anything is dispatched.

Complaints

If something is not right, see our complaints page or call 07494 659857.

Written in plain language and in good faith. Worth having reviewed by a solicitor before you rely on it commercially.
