This explains what we do with the information you give us when you contact Motorstead.
Who we are
Motorstead is a trading name of 24/7 Road Assist Group Ltd, 2a Merchiston Road, Catford, London SE6 1SH. You can reach us at info@motorstead.co.uk.
What this website collects
When you submit an enquiry form, the details are sent to us and stored by our website host, Netlify, so that we have a record of your request. You are then taken to WhatsApp with the same details filled in, so you can continue the conversation there if you prefer. Sending the WhatsApp message is optional — we already have your enquiry.
Enquiry records include what you typed, the service you selected, the page you were on and, where you chose to share it, the location you provided. If you arrived from an advertisement, the campaign reference is stored with the enquiry so we know which advert brought you here.
What we hold when you contact us
- Your name and contact details
- Your vehicle registration and details of the work
- Correspondence with you about the job
- Records of work arranged and payments made
Why we hold it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange work with the appropriate specialist, keep you informed, and keep the records required for accounting and warranty purposes. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Who we share it with
We share what is necessary with the independent specialist appointed to carry out your work — typically your name, contact number, registration and a description of the job. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Messages sent through WhatsApp are also processed by WhatsApp under its own terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Records of completed work are kept for as long as required for warranty, accounting and legal purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are able, or object to how we use it. Contact info@motorstead.co.uk.
